It seems like every day we hear about a major business or chain closing locations nationwide as our habits have changed quite a bit over the past few years.

I was thinking about this recently when I went to the Twin Cities area to see some family. I always pass what used to be a Long John Silver's location.

In high school, it was the place to be for an after school snack or meal and the location I always used to be pass is no longer there.

That got me thinking - how many are there left? I cannot remember the last time I saw one in Minnesota at all! I dove in.

What sets Long John Silver's apart is their seafood fare, offering battered fish, seafood tacos, salmon and seafood bowls. They also offer clam strips, hush puppies, popcorn shrimp and cheese bites.

Are There Any Long John Silver's Locations In Minnesota In 2025?

The good news is that there is still one remaining location and that is in Bloomington, which is about a three hour drive from the Duluth area if a craving really hits. Talk about major dedication if you do that. Ha!

Unfortunately, according to the website, there doesn't appear to be any remaining Long John Silver's locations in Wisconsin.
