Local PBS TV Station Launches Over-The-Air Kids Channel
Parents have a new option for kids' TV viewing.
WDSE-WRPT is now offering PBS Kids TV Channel 24/7 on their over-the-air channel 8.5. This is a perfect alternative for parents who have "cut the cord" and rely on Youtube, Netflix and other streaming services for children's programming, which isn't always very educational.
Patty Mester, GM of the station, says in a press release, “We are excited to build on the work we do every day for the Northland’s families by adding this new service to our offerings, ensuring that our proven educational content is accessible all day and anywhere to all kids – especially those who need it the most.”
