You can probably tell where I am at in my current Law & Order: SVU binge-watch whenever you come across a story like this. Ha!

I started the daunting but exciting journey of starting the show from the beginning awhile back and it's been fun to see Minnesota and Wisconsin get some love every once in awhile.

I finally made it to season thirteen and got a kick out of a Minnesota mention in one of the episodes in the season!

It was a little bit of a fail but only Minnesotans would notice. The fail happened in episode eleven, which is titled Theatre Tricks.

The premise of the episode is a little dark so I am not going to get into that. It also aired back in 2012 so it's possible that the writer of this episode realized the error by now - or not.

The fail is small. In the episode, the victim in this instance is from a town in Minnesota that doesn't exactly exist in real life. Oops!

This girl Meghan, she just moved here from Hennepin, Minnesota, six months ago.

Sure, there is Hennepin County but in this episode, the victim is from Hennepin, which just doesn't exist. I am always curious how they choose these states and cities that are mentioned in these episodes.

It's just a little thing I noticed but you have to love it. It was a really good episode and I always perk up hearing Minnesota mentioned. Maybe it needs a Minnesota spinoff?

I am sure I will be back with more midwest mentions in the near future as my binge-watch continues!
