Lake Superior Maritime Visitor Center Hours To Change After Labor Day

With the change of seasons comes a change of hours at the Lake Superior Maritime Visitor Center in Canal Park. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers announced today (August 28) a seasonal change to the hours of the visitor center, that go into effect the day after Labor Day.

These changes, which will be in effect through September 29, precede the winter schedule that goes into effect on the last day of September.

• September 3 through September 29, 2019 - Hours will be 10:00 am to 6:00 pm daily
• September 30, 2019-January 19, 2020 - Hours will be 10:00 am to 5:00 pm daily
• After January 19, 2020 - 10:00 am to 5:00 pm Friday through Sunday

The reduced hours will remain in effect this winter until the spring schedule changeover for 2020, which will be announced at a later date.
