My brother Paul is currently enrolled at Lake Superior College as he pursues a career in cybersecurity.  He's really enjoyed the programs and the countless directions that career path can take him.  It's also a career path that can pay really well right out of college.

For students in grades 6-12 that are interested in a possible career in cybersecurity, LSC is hosting a free workshop so you can learn more.  There will be hands-on activities including a virtual Capture the Flag competition, as well as activities involving cybersafety and defense, basic scripting, robot programming, and more.

The event is being held at the LSC main campus on Friday, February 28th, from 9:00AM-2:00PM, and is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Defense.  You can register online here or by contacting Vickie McLain (valarie.mclain@lsc.edu, 218-733-7763) or Paul Fye (CISTech@lsc.edu, 218-733-7666) for more information.
