'Tis the season for concert announcements! Fresh off his Rock N' Roll Cowboy Tour, Jason Aldean has announced a special one-night show in Minnesota, giving us all something to look forward to next year.

This is the latest in what feels like a big wave of concert announcements lately. On Tuesday (November 1st), Taylor Swift announced her first big tour in years. The Eras Tour will kick off early next year with a Minneapolis show slated for June of 2023.

Just a few days prior, Shania Twain announced a big tour and corresponding new album. Her Queen Of Me Tour will also be headed to Minnesota with a show at the Xcel Energy Center in May of 2023.

Prior to all of these shows, Old Dominion will be returning to the Northland with a show at AMSOIL Arena in February! A bunch of newcomers will be opening the show. They were here a few years back and were great so you know it is going to be a ton of fun.

Now, Jason Aldean is getting added to the calendar with a special show in Welch, Minnesota. The show will take place at Treasure Island Resort & Casino and at the time of writing, is not part of any big tour.

The show will take place on Saturday, August 19th. He will be playing outdoors at the Treasure Island Amphitheater. Ticket prices begin at $45 bucks and go up to about $109 dollars depending on where you want to sit.

Tickets for the show can be purchased online and will go on sale on Friday, November 4th at 10 a.m. As of now, there is no opening act for the show but that could change at a later date.

If you are planning on going to the show, make sure you brush up on Treasure Island's policies prior to attending. There is a long list of prohibited items for their outdoor venue that you may not think of, including certain electronics, skateboards, strollers, and the like.

This show is part of Treasure Island's annual concert series. Stay tuned for whoever else may be added to this concert series in the coming months! By the way, Welch is a few hours away from Duluth so it will require a bit of a road trip.
