Shania Twain Announces Minnesota Show At Xcel Energy Center
2023 is going to be a great year with this news: Shania Twain just announced a brand new tour and it is coming to Minnesota for the ultimate show.
Shania announced the news on Friday (October 28th), just days after announcing a special one-off show in Nashville with Kelsea Ballerini. It was good news for those in Tennessee but sad news for us.
Now, we can get excited because she is launching her Queen Of Me Tour in 2023. Opening the Minnesota tour date is up-and-comer Hailey Whitters, who is having a big breakout year in country music.
If you're wondering, by the way, where that tour title came from: Shania also announced a brand new album at the same time as the tour called Queen Of Me that will drop in February, right before her tour kicks off in late April.
So when will Shania be in Minnesota? She will be here on Wednesday, May 17th of 2023. Her show will take place at the Xcel Energy Center with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. The show will kick off on 7:30 p.m.
Tickets for the show go on sale on Friday, November 4th at 10 a.m. our time. You can get tickets online via Ticketmaster. This show is one of forty-nine that the country icon will be embarking on next year. She doesn't tour very often at all so this is your chance to see her in person!
It should be noted that the Xcel Energy Center does have a bag policy, where bags, purses and backpacks are not allowed. Medical bags and diaper bags are allowed but other bags must fit certain standards so brush up on this before the show.
This is going to be an epic show! It is also the latest project after a busy year for Shania, who released a Netflix documentary earlier this year and will star in the live-action special of Beauty & The Beast in December. She also had a Las Vegas residency earlier this year and had a guest starring role on the new show Monarch, which is about a fictional country music family.
In other concert-related news, we recently announced a major concert coming to Duluth next year: Old Dominion! The band is returning for the second time in five years in February and based on the first concert, it is going to be amazing.
You can keep track of shows coming to the Northland, the Twin Cities and beyond with our concert calendar.
