ORIGINAL STORY [11/1/2022] The biggest superstar in music is about to embark on tour for the first time in years - and the tour includes a stop in Minnesota! That's right, the one and only Taylor Swift is headed to Minnesota in 2023.
Taylor has, of course, been to Minnesota so many times over the years. From touring here as a country artist to returning as a pop sensation, she always makes sure to make a stop here and her latest tour is no different.
In fact, she has been coming here for nearly two decades believe it or not. Her debut country single, Tim McGraw, came out sixteen years ago as of this summer. Since then, she's released country albums, embarked on pop tours and even dived into indie music.
All of her different eras will be represented on her brand new tour, appropriately titled The Eras Tour. The tour will feature songs from the beginning of her career all the way through her latest record-breaking album, Midnights.
Taylor announced the tour officially on Tuesday morning (November 1st). She had been hinting at it while promoting her latest album but made it official with an announcement bright and early.
The show will take place at U.S. Bank Stadium on Saturday, June 24th. There will be two openers for the show: girl in red and OWENN. As you can see, the tour will feature all her past music from beginning to end.
Tickets go on sale on Friday, November 18th at 10 a.m. There are a few presale options if you want to try to get the best tickets possible prior to the date they go on sale, according to Good Morning America.
Ticket prices will start at $49 bucks and will go up to $449 depending on your seats. There will also be VIP ticket options available starting at $199 to $899. There is absolutely no doubt that this tour is going to sell out.
Taylor is also famous for bringing out major superstars as guests throughout her tour stops so you can bet that if you go to the show, you'll see a few other mega musicians as well. This news comes after a massive week for Taylor, who broke a bunch of major records with her new album.
The Eras Tour will kick off in March and will continue through August, wrapping up in Los Angeles. Her Minnesota show will kick off at 6:30 p.m.
