USA Today Puts This Minnesota Corn Maze In The National Spotlight

Thankfully for corn maze lovers in the Midwest, there are plenty to choose from. In fact, Minnesota is home to one of the best corn mazes in the entire country. For over 25 years, this attraction has been crafting some of the most creative designs found anywhere.

Sever’s Fall Festival, located in Shakopee, has been designing unique corn mazes since 1997. The family created what was only the second corn maze in the United States ever, and Minnesota's very first.

From Humble Beginnings to Massive Attraction in Minnesota

Today, Sever’s still creates Minnesota's largest corn maze, along with dozens of other attractions and events in what is now a month-long celebration drawing tens of thousands of visitors.

From pirate ships to spaceships, their designs over the years have been nothing short of impressive. This year’s theme is "Ancient Civilizations."

Sever’s Fall Festival is currently in a heated competition to make the "10BEST" list in USA Today's annual Reader's Choice Awards for Best Corn Maze. They are in 8th place but could use a boost to claim the top spot. Voting is open until September 8, with the final top 10 list being released on September 17.
