Campbell's, the famous soup brand, put out a call a year ago for some side dish recipes for a contest they kicked off last holiday season. As the holidays roll around once again, they announced the winner - and it's someone from Minnesota!

The iconic red-and-white can brand announced on their website that the results of their #ShareYourSides side dish recipe contest are in, and a woman from the Iron Range in Babbitt, Minnesota was the winner of the contest!

The winner, named Crystal, beat out the rest of the pack with her side dish recipe that uses Campbell's Cream of Mushroom Soup as part of the creation.

As the winner, Crystal's recipe will be featured on Campbell's cans as we head into the holiday season.

So, what was this Northlander's winning recipe? It's a dish called the "Everything Quiche", which is a spin on a green bean casserole. The picture at the top of the post is the prepared dish. It looks phenomenal!

Recipes were judged by Campbell's on a number of factors, including originality, appeal, the associated story with the recipe, and "brand fit". Their team of experts narrowed down the field of submissions to 10 finalists, with a panel of judges then preparing and tasting each of the remaining recipes.

In the end, Crystal's Everything Quiche won over the judges.

The dish uses fresh green beans, bella mushrooms, sweet onion, Campbell's Cream of Mushroom Soup, cream cheese, and a few other ingredients and seasonings.

The recipe takes about 15 minutes to prepare and 45 minutes to bake, making a delicious dish that can serve up to 8 people in about an hour.

26 Funny, Quirky, and Weird Minnesota Lake Names

With over 10,000 lakes, Minnesota is bound to have some lakes with odd names. With dozens of lakes with names like Mud Lake, Long Lake, Rice Lake, or Bass Lake, here are some less common and more interesting lake names in the state.

I'll admit, I am certain there are many funny or quirky lake names I missed, but here are some that I did find amusing.
