The big news this week has been Hurricane Florence.

At one point, the storm was being dubbed one of the worst in history. As of Friday morning, Florence has made landfall and weakened to a Category 1 hurricane. However, the damage is far from over.

The Southeast will wait out the rest of the storm this weekend and while that may seem worlds away from us here in the Midwest, we actually will be seeing a small impact from it here in Minnesota.

If you're wondering how that is possible, you're not alone. One Minneapolis-based meteorologist took to social media Thursday to show just how big this storm really is by comparing it to our state.
