Horror Movie Filming In Duluth Still Looking For Extras
Movie stars in the making - here's a great opportunity for you!
You have probably heard by now that there is a horror movie set to film in Duluth's Lincoln Park come May. The production company in charge of the movie has put out a notice that they still need extras for the film.
If you are interested in being an extra in the film, all you have to do is email THTFcasting@gmail.com. In the email, give out your contact information so they can reach out to you regarding dates and times.
The production company says they are looking for "bar age and bikers" so keep this in mind when sending in an application. They also state that they are not looking for any teenage extras at this time.
News broke back in March that a scary movie was going to use Duluth as its backdrop later in the year. (In case you didn't know, St. Louis County offers a special rebate program which gives money back to production companies that film here.)
What is even more awesome is that the production company, which is based in Minnesota, wants to use local actors for the film. They recently put out a casting call for lead and supporting roles, requesting actors from Duluth and St. Louis County. They really want to make the movie unique to the area which I think is really cool.
The film will begin filming on May 1st and is set to wrap up before the end of the month. It is called The Hand That Feeds and will be filmed in and around The Caddy Shack in Lincoln Park. The movie is about a man who inherits a bar and in turn, inherits some pesky ghosts that won't leave him alone. I can't wait to watch it!
