I have friends that are dedicated to volunteering for the Honor Flight Northland.  My father was in WWII and I would have loved for him to have this opportunity.  If you know a Vet, especially a WWII Vet in your life, fill out an application!

When my friends that volunteer for the non-profit organization first started talking about the Honor Flight I didn't know what it was.  Basically,  they are dedicated to transporting as many United States military veterans as possible to see the memorials of the respective war(s) they fought in Washington, D.C. at no cost to the veterans.  Isn't that cool? Our local chapter of Honor Flight Northland is planning such a trip to take about 90 local Veterans on June 6th of this year.

Get your applications in now because Veterans for the trip are chosen by the date they receive the application and give priority to WWII Veterans.  You can download an application at honorflightnorthland.org, then send it to:
