Hilarious! Dan Hanger From Duluth’s Fox 21 Caught Looking at Instagram During Newscast

Dan Hanger, the lead anchor for Fox 21 in Duluth, is truly one of a kind. His irreverent approach to the nightly local 9:00 p.m. news broadcast is unpredictable and oftentimes a bit off the cuff, which isn't necessarily a bad thing when the news is sometimes a bit hard to bear.

Dan is also a great resource throughout each year for some bloopers of various types, one of which was actually shared on NBC's The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Remember that one? That took place in 2018 and can be best described as "The Tie Incident". That particular exchange went viral quickly and as you watch the video below, which Dan Hanger shared at the time, it's still laugh out loud funny. Jimmy Fallon's reaction really takes it to the next level.

Apparently Dan was the only one on the broadcast team that didn't realize there was another news segment before it was time for the weather, so he decided to kill a little time and was very surprised to discover he was on the air.

You have to give him credit for how he handles the situation. There are those who would've acted like nothing happened and just moved forward. Not Dan Hanger. He is not afraid to laugh at himself and draw extra attention to the situation.

In my opinion, that's how it should be. We're all human and if we can't laugh at ourselves and roll with life, we're likely not getting the most out of it.
