Here’s What The Old Farmer’s Almanac Is Predicting For December
December is here and it's no secret it's one of the coldest months of the year. Brrrr!
At the start of every month, I glance at the Old Farmer's Almanac to see what they are predicting for the next four weeks.
While you have to take the predictions at face value, it is still fun to see how they stack up.
On December 1st and 2nd, we should see sunshine with mild conditions.
From the 3rd to the 7th, we will see periods of snow with cold temperatures.
Expect snow showers and very cold temperatures beginning December 8th and continuing through the 14th.
Conditions will calm down a bit from the 15th through the 21st, where we will see snowy periods and otherwise mild conditions.
December 22nd will bring sunshine but cold temperatures will stick around through the end of the month.
Some bad news: temperatures will fall about 4 degrees below average. The average will be about 12 degrees.
The Old Farmer's Almanac makes long-term weather predictions by region.
They weren't too off for November but let's just hope they aren't too off on their winter season predictions, either!
