Hear What 55 MPH Winds Sound Like At Duluth’s Aerial Lift Bridge [VIDEO]
To say it was windy today would be an understatement. 35mph winds were forecast, but one area actually clocked 70mph! A reliable source told me that one of the ships that arrived around 2pm today, the Philip R. Clarke was having trouble docking due to the winds.
I had to drive to Cloquet for a meeting and was bucking the headwind the whole way. It was amazing how the strong wind was throwing my car around (although it IS a little weightless car with a few dents).
A friend that works on the Aerial Lift Bridge sent this video so I could hear what winds clocked at 50 knots, which is equivalent to 55mph sounds like. He was about 50ft up while taking this video.
