It's that time of year again where we are normally telling you about Harold's Flippin' Flapjack Fiasco. It's an annual pancake feed to raise money for the kid's at St. Jude that takes place at the Four Seasons Sports Complex in Carlton. It's a great event that has raised a lot of money over the years, but unfortunately it cannot take place now because of social distancing requirements amid the pandemic. But, they've come up with another plan, and they are really hoping people will come out and support the kids at St. Jude in a safe way.

This is the plan from organizers:

On Sunday, May 3rd from 8am - 1pm, the flapjack committee will be on the corners of HWY 210 and HWY 45 in Carlton.  Social distancing practices will be in place as volunteers will be using long handled buckets to collect the donations from you in your vehicle at the intersection.  To avoid congestion, they are asking that you drop your donation in the bucket and continue on your journey.  Thank you for your past support of the Flapjack Fiasco and for your willingness to be flexible in supporting the cause this year!

This would be the 10th year for the Flapjack Fiasco which served a record 760 people last year. This along with Harold's Fiasco golf event, and the hog roast have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars over the years for the kids at St. Jude Children's Research hospital.

If you can find time to safely donate in this event, all of the volunteers in Carlton would be thankful, and so would we here at B105.
