Grill Easy Black And Blue Burgers On Memorial Week-end
My daughter was confirmed this past Sunday and at her Confirmation party, we grilled a variety of flavored burgers. One in particular caught my eye and my taste buds, the Black and Blue burger. Have you had one? It was so tasty! With Memorial Week-end coming up, if you want to one-up everybody's same old, plain old burgers, try making these. I found the recipe in a flyer while shopping at Cub Foods.
What you need:
1 pound of lean ground beef
1/2 of a pkg of dry onion soup mix
1 T. Worcestershire sauce
2 T freshly ground black pepper
4 T. blue cheese dressing
Cheese of your choice if you want cheeseburgers, buns, and the fixin's: lettuce, tomato slices, onions.
How to make it:
In a bowl, combine the ground beef, dry soup mix and Worcestershire sauce, mix well, and form into four patties.
Place the black pepper in a shallow dish and press both sides of burgers into it.
Prepare grill to medium heat and grill burgers, turning once. 7-14 minutes or until internal temperature is 160 degrees. Top burgers with cheese slices (optional), just before removing from grill.
Place yummy burgers on your buns (the hamburger buns) and top each with 1 T. of the blue cheese dressing. Garnish as desired and ENJOY!
Add your family, friends, salad, chips and a cold beverage and you've got a Memorial week-end meal planned!
