Funnel Cloud or Not? Strange Cloud Fools Some

We saw some sporadic scattered showers on Easter, and even some thunderstorms. Near Twig, MN I spotted what at first looked like a funnel cloud.  The kids even started to panic.

Quickly I assured them it wasn't a tornado or funnel cloud.  It was just a heavy downpour that looked menacing.   The rest of the patterns needed for a funnel cloud weren't present. There was no thunderstorm, wall cloud, or anything like that.  It was just an isolated rain shower.

It still looked pretty cool!
