This Wisconsin Spot Is Now Known As One of America’s ‘Best Classic’ Diners
I am hungry right now and this isn't helping! A Wisconsin diner is absolutely killing it these days and for good reason: their food looks incredible. That's why it's not surprising they were just named one of America's best classic diners.
Love Food shared a list of the best classic diners in the country and now I have to start planning a road trip immediately. This list was shared at the end of last year and still holds up.
Which Wisconsin Diner Gets The Honor?
Drumroll, please! Frank's Diner in Kenosha, Wisconsin has been named one of America's best classic diners. If you've ever been there, you won't be surprised by this.
What Makes It So Good?
According to the popular food publication, it is the vibe paired with the incredible food that makes this spot a winner! It is the oldest 'continuously operating' lunch-car diner in America and has been open since 1926.

Here's what else Food Love had to say about the famous diner:
Open since 1926, it was in the same family until 2001, but the current owners have remained faithful to the character of the much-loved establishment – which many will recognize from Diners, Drive-ins and Dives.
It serves a mean garbage plate: hash browns, green peppers, and onions served with eggs, cheese, and your choice of meat or vegetables.
I am adding this one to my bucket list immediately! How cool to be able to eat good food in a place with such an amazing atmosphere.
It's Guy Fieri Approved!
I first learned about Frank's Diner from Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives. However, I have not been there yet because it is a little bit of a hike away from Duluth. It's located in Kenosha.
