First Annual Bayfield Paddle Rally Set For This Weekend

If you love to be in a kayak out on the open water, then you'll want to get to Bayfield this weekend for the first annual Bayfield Paddle Rally.  This sea-kayak event will offer courses and workshops for all skill levels, featuring high level coaches from across the country.

The Bayfield Paddle Rally takes place September 9 - September 11 and there are a lot of workshop options to choose from.  There will also be an array of vendor booths with clothing and related gear.

This promises to be a great community event, with several Bayfield businesses participating throughout the weekend.

If you don't want to participate, you'll want to watch the tandem kayak race on Sunday afternoon.  The race will  be visible from the downtown waterfront. Non-participants will also have an opportunity to learn about and try out various kayaks. A free community paddle will also be offered to the public.
