Essentia Health Urgent Care Clinic In Hermantown Closing Until Further Notice

For many of us the convenience and cost of going to an Urgent Care clinic versus an Emergency room is a nice option, but Essentia Health announced that it is closing their Urgent Care Clinic in Hermantown until further notice.

WDIO reports an Essentia Official stated: " The Essentia Health-Hermantown Clinic recently added three new providers to help with additional patients. The Urgent Care will close to allow resources to go where they are needed most."

The Essentia Health-Hermantown Clinic is that available for walk-in-care and officials say the situation will be re-evaluated and adjustments will be made in the future if necessary.

Med Express which is not associated with Essentia Health sent e-mails to all their patients saying their Duluth urgent care clinic would be closing August 27. Their clinic in Cloquet remains open along with many clinics in the Twin Cities area. Med Express opened in Duluth in 2017.

8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday

8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday

Thankfully their are still some urgent care clinics available to families and individuals in the area, I know that I have used them in the past and when our kids were small they are a great last minute option to get checked out.
