The kids always want to help with baking holiday cookies.  It's not always easy finding a recipe that they can participate in from start to finish, but here's one from Taste of Home that will include a lesson in counting, combines several delicious flavors and is easy enough for the whole family to participate while making them.

The whole family will be laughing and making memories while you make these tasty treats!  Be sure to take pictures and video to enjoy for years to come and you only need 5 ingredients, 6 if you count decorations, but that's optional.

What You Need:

96 Ritz crackers (you really need to use Ritz, I tried a different brand, wasn't the same but your choice)
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1 cup marshmallow creme
2 pounds milk chocolate candy coating, melted
Holiday sprinkles, optional

Make it together:

Count out the 96 Ritz crackers and spread 48 with the peanut butter, spread the remaining 48 crackers with the marshmallow creme, then put the two halves together forming a sandwich.

Once the milk chocolate candy coating pieces are melted, dip the cracker sandwiches in and allow the excess chocolate to drip off.  Place on waxed paper-lined pans so you can transfer them to the refrigerator for 15 minutes or until set.  I have drizzle them with melted white almond bark candy coating and sprinkled with chopped nuts.  You could use colored sprinkles or use your own creativity and let the kids go wild!  Store in an airtight container so they don't do soft, it'll make 4 dozen (unless you eat a bunch while you're making them).
