Dunkin’ Donuts Unveils New Girl Scout Cookie-Inspired Drinks
Girl Scout Cookie fanatics will soon have another way to satisfy their craving for the delicious treat. Dunkin' Donuts announced three new flavors Friday morning and they are all an ode to the famous snack.
Customers will soon be able to order the new flavors in the form of a drinkable treat. Those flavors are: Thin Mints, Coconut Caramel and Peanut Butter Cookie.
You can order the three new flavors in whatever form you'd like, including:
- Hot coffee
- Iced coffee
- Lattes
- Macchiatos
- Frozen chocolate
- Frozen coffee
A press release on their website says, "Thin Mints flavored coffee features the classic cookie’s combination of cool mint and decadent chocolate, while new Coconut Caramel flavored coffee treats guests to the taste of toasted coconut together with creamy caramel. With new Peanut Butter Cookie flavored coffee, Dunkin’ Donuts has crafted its first-ever coffee featuring the flavor of mouth-watering peanut butter (without allergens)."
The coffee company first teased the big news on Facebook earlier this week, saying they would be announcing a few new flavors at the end of the week. They stood by their word and dropped the big news via Facebook live from a location in Savannah, Georgia. This may seem random but it is actually the birthplace of our beloved cookies.
As if this wasn't enough good news for one day, in honor of the new flavors, Girl Scouts will be selling the iconic cookies at select locations through March 18th.
You can order the cookie-themed drinks beginning Monday, February 26th. The new flavors will be available through May.
This news comes after the chain announced they'd be cutting ten popular menu items to better serve customers.
Dunkin' Donuts has two locations in the Northland: 104 West Central Entrance in Duluth and 3110 Tower Ave in Superior. I can't wait to try one of these new flavors!
