Dunkin’ Donuts Debuts ‘Donut Fries’ [REVIEW]
It's always a good morning when donuts are involved.
Early Monday morning, I saw an announcement from Dunkin' Donuts saying they were debuting a new menu item. The item in question? Donut fries.
This is a big deal for me as I love both donuts and french fries so I decided to head over to the nearest location and try them out for myself.
The new item may seem like it came out of nowhere but that's not exactly true. The donut fries were tested in a few locations earlier this year and ended up being very popular.
They look like french toast sticks and taste a little bit like them too. They are individual pieces of croissant-style dough dipped in cinnamon sugar. The coffee chain describes them as "buttery, crispy and tossed in sweet cinnamon sugar" and "perfect for all your on-the-move cravings."
The only downside to the new treat? They are only available for a limited time so you better act fast.
You get five fries per order and it won't dent your wallet - they only cost two dollars. To find a location near you, click here.
I tried out the invention - see what I think in my review above.
