Enger Tower will be a little bit more colorful until further notice. The popular Duluth landmark will be lit up in purple through Friday, March 27th and the reason why is special.

Mayor Emily Larson took to social media this week to share that Enger Tower would be all decked out through the end of the week in an effort to celebrate all the things we have in common right now during these uncertain times.

On Monday, Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers issued a "Safer At Home" order, calling on residents to stay home and all non-essential businesses to close their doors temporarily.

Over the past few weeks, businesses across the Duluth area have also shut their doors or adapted their way of doing things. Major events have also been cancelled or postponed in the wake of COVID-19. To keep up with the latest, click here.
