Duluth Musician Lands First Record Deal

This is such incredible news! A Duluth local making a big name for herself in Nashville just signed a record deal, just in time for the new year. So amazing.

We have a ton of talented artists here in the Northland and I am so happy to see Sydney Hansen taking a huge step in her career. She's going to be a huge star!

It's already been a pretty big year for her. In November, she shared that her Christmas originals would be featured in not one but TWO holiday movies this season. As an avid Christmas movie watcher, I was so excited by the news.

It turns out this was just the beginning of an exciting end-of-the-year for her because she now has signed an official record deal. This is just the beginning.

Northland Musician Signs First Official Record Deal

This is the best news to end the year! Sydney Hansen shared some incredible news on Monday (December 15th): she is a signed musician. She signed her first ever record and management deal with Get Joe Records!

If you've been to any show in the area, you have probably seen her perform. She's been chasing her dream in Nashville over the past few years and now signed a record deal, which means this really is just the beginning for her.

The artist is back in town and performing a special show this Friday (December 19th) at the Sacred Heart Music Center! She will be opening for Caitlyn Smith and performing an acoustic set with her band's lead guitar player Don Douglas.
