You've likely heard of 'Throwback Thursday', but the Duluth Police Department started something new today that is even better!
On Monday, November 1, they used their official Facebook page as well as Twitter to post a 'Mug Shot Monday', and one can only hope it's something they run with for awhile.
The mug shot selected November 1 was that of Nia Lynn Cloutier:
The Duluth Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating 36-year-old Nia Lynn Cloutier. Cloutier has active warrants for Felony Aid & Abet FTC Fraud, Felony Escape from Custody, Felony 5th Degree Possession of Controlled Substance, and Gross Misdemeanor Theft. The Duluth Police Department is grateful for the community’s continued partnership in locating persons who have committed crimes in our community in order to provide a safe Duluth for all.
The Duluth Police Department appreciates very much when the community comes together to share things such as this as it's proven to be an effective way to locate not only criminals and persons of interest related to a crime, but also with missing person cases that tend to pop up throughout each year.
Please take heed of their request not to approach the people of interest pictured. It's best to simply call 9-1-1 to notify police should you know the whereabouts of any criminal who is wanted by the authorities.
Duluth Police will continue to utilize their social media accounts for these as they feel it is needed and it continues to be of service to the department.
