You can't pick your neighbors, we've all heard that before.  But it is always shocking when someone that lives close by is arrested for anything, especially dealing drugs.  I'm sure the people living in this neighborhood are suprised that a man in their area not only had this many drugs in his home, but also a stolen gun.  But, the Duluth Police Department was on it!

Last Thursday, May 1st, investigators from the Lake Superior Drug and Violent Crime Task Force and Duluth Police Department executed a search warrant at a residence in the 300 block of North 7th Avenue East. The residence was identified as a location where a suspect, Antonio Dantinue Long (aka “Tone”) a 38 year old male resident of Chicago, was selling heroin.

While police were executing the search warrant approximately 34 grams of heroin, 33 grams of crack cocaine, and a stolen .45 caliber handgun along with other evidence of drug sales was seized. It was determined that the handgun was stolen during a gun show in Moose Lake, Minnesota on May 18 of last year.

Antonio Dantinue Long was lodged at the Saint Louis County Jail for 1st Degree Sale of Heroin, 1st Degree Sale of Crack Cocaine, 2 counts 3rd Degree Sale of Heroin and Felon in Possession of a Firearm. On May 5th, he was formally charged by the St. Louis County Attorney's Office.  Long has previous convictions in Illinois for Attempted Murder and Felony Battery.

There was a female resident at the address that was a known associate of Long's and was the subject of a separate seizure and arrest last year where 10 grams of crack and 12 grams of heroin were seized.
