The DTA has been in existence for over 130 years and has always made an effort to morph to the communities travel needs.  To remain a reliable source of transportation for Northlanders, they will change some of their routes, primarily in the Miller Hill corridor and UMD area. Here are the changes and a link to find more information specific to you.

 

The DTA is implementing a number of schedule adjustments starting Sunday, September 7th that will provide additional running time and improved connections for passengers transferring between routes.

Details regarding these changes include, but are not limited to the following:

  • All Saturday, Sunday and Holiday Woodland / UMD / East 4th Route 13 trips will serve Anoka Street, Maxwell Avenue, and Redwing Street on all trips. Woodland Avenue, between Anoka Street and Redwing Street will not be provided service on those days.
  • All Saturday, Sunday and Holiday Kenwood / UMD / East 8th Route 11K trips will provide service to 3rd Street between 3rd Avenue East and 4th Avenue West.
  • Most Kenwood / UMD / East 8th Route 11K trips will have Lakeside Route 7 as the destination route on Saturday, Sunday and Holidays. *
  • Most Woodland / UMD / East 4th trips will have Duluth Heights / Mall Route 10 as the destination route on Saturday, Sunday and Holidays. *
  • Most Lakeside Route 7 trips will have Piedmont / Mall Area Route 9M as the destination route on Saturday, Sunday and Holidays. *
  • Most Piedmont / Mall Area Route 9M trips will have Kenwood / UMD / East 8th Route 11K as the destination route on Saturday, Sunday and Holidays. *
  • Most Superior / Itasca Route 16 trips will have East Mainline / UMD Route 6 as the destination route on Saturdays. *
  • All Superior / Itasca Route 16 trips will terminate downtown Duluth on Sundays.
