Dairy Queen In West Duluth Is Officially Open For The 2021 Season
This is always an amazing way to tell that spring is here! The Dairy Queen store in West Duluth is officially open for the season.
Just like so many other seasonal shops in the Northland, this Dairy Queen location closes for the winter season. When it does open its doors again, it's the best way to tell that warmer weather is on the horizon!
I first learned that this location was open again on Facebook. There were so many excited Duluth residents exclaiming that the store was open and spring was near. Ha!
Just to be safe, I called the location and asked them to confirm that they were open. They said yes! In fact, they opened for the season on Wednesday (March 3rd). In recent years, they have opened at the beginning of March so it isn't a huge surprise - but it is a very welcome one.
Now that the weather is warmer, it's the best time to celebrate making it through the rough winter we have had, especially our cold February. Take advantage of the mild weather and head here for a treat. It should be noted this is a "treat only" Dairy Queen, which means they only offer up ice cream and blizzards. That is fine by us!
This Dairy Queen is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. This location is found at 4431 Grand Avenue.
By the way, another great way to tell that spring is near is when our other popular seasonal treat shop opens up for the spring and summer season. The Portland Malt Shoppe should be opening back up soon and I personally can't wait!
