Country Throwback Remembers a Trace Adkins Classic as Kids Start Another School Year

Towards the end of summer, parents get a little stir crazy and start to count the days until the kids are all back in school.  Now that has happened and before we know it, the school year will pass and our kids will be another year older.  With that in mind, I thought of a great Trace Adkins song for my Country Throwback.

The obvious choice would be "You're Gonna Miss This", which is his biggest hit, but I've also always loved "Then They Do".

The song was released in March of 2003.  It was a new song included on his Great Hits Vol. 1 album and it would itself become a top-ten hit.

It serves as a great reminder not to wish the time away because before you know it, kids will be grown and out of the house living life on their own.

I think I'm going to choose to savor each day they drive me crazy.
