The Minnesota Twins had a Monday announcement that is sure to please country music lovers, especially fans of Cole Swindell.

The Twins announced that they will be hosting their first ever post game concert and  GRAMMY-nominated, Multi-Platinum country star Cole Swindell will be taking the stage to perform.

According to the Twins, Cole Swindell will play a full 75-minute set following the conclusion of the Twins’ home game vs. the Toronto Blue Jays on Thursday, August 4.

“Twins baseball and country music on a summer evening at Target Field is a fantastic combination,” said Twins President & CEO Dave St. Peter. “We are thrilled to bring Cole Swindell and his 11 No. 1 hits – and counting! – to our ballpark, and we look forward to sharing a fun night of great baseball and music with our fans on Thursday, August 4.”

What's even better is that admission to the concert is free with a ticket to that night’s game, which is scheduled to start at 6:40 p.m.  There are also special ticket packages available that can get you closer to the stage and a limited edition Cole Swindell Twins hat.
