
Bones Found In Chisholm Basement Sparks Investigation
The Chisholm Police Department notified the public yesterday that they were investigating a report of bones found in a basement. The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension assisted with the search and investigation.
On December 2nd, authorities searched the basement of a residence in Chisholm, Minnesota, after possible human bones were found. Chisholm is the town where LeeAnna Warner went missing over 22 years ago. It is still a cold case, and LeeAnna Warner has not been found. The case remains a high priority, and they take every lead seriously.

The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension believes the bones are not human after initial observations. They still will be submitted for further analysis to confirm their origin.

The Chisholm Police Department Chief James Vukad reassures the Warner family and the community that the case remains a high priority, and "continues to follow every credible lead with care, diligence, and compassion."
Chisholm continues to investigate the LeeAnna Warner case and questions individuals.
LeeAnna Warner was last seen walking home from a friend's house between 5:00 and 5:15 PM on June 14th, 2003. The police have received thousands of leads over the last 22 years, but a lack of evidence has prevented them from having a concrete suspect.
