Can You Believe The Heimlich Maneuver Has Only Been Around Since 1975 [VIDEO]

On this day in history, 40 years ago the American Medical Association (AMA) endorsed a technique that has continued to save lives to this day.  The Heimlich Maneuver. It's easy enough to learn, but done incorrectly can injure a person.  It's good knowledge to have after all, we ALL have to eat, right?

As an ode to the man who introduced the Heimlich Maneuver, Dr. Henry Heimlich, I thought I would share a video explaining the correct way to perform the life saving technique properly.  I hope you never have to use it, but hopefully because you watched this you are ready if the crisis should arise.
