On this day in history, 40 years ago the American Medical Association (AMA) endorsed a technique that has continued to save lives to this day.  The Heimlich Maneuver. It's easy enough to learn, but done incorrectly can injure a person.  It's good knowledge to have after all, we ALL have to eat, right?
