The Minnesota State Fair is in full swing and that means we have a lot of celebrities heading to our neck of the woods.

The big Minnesota event had a great start, breaking attendance records on opening day and the day following. We were all anxious to get our deep-fried ranch.

Big musical acts also help bring people in, like Blake Shelton, who was scheduled to hit the Grandstand stage on Sunday night (August 25th).

As to be expected, he brought in a massive crowd. Minnesota State Fair organizers shared attendance numbers following his show.

The venue holds about 14,000 people, so those are pretty good numbers for a Sunday night! My only question is: where was Gwen Stefani?!

Blake always puts on an amazing show and I am glad he came back to Minnesota because we all love him around here! He also recently announced a Las Vegas residency.

If you went to the show and are already feeling that post-concert sadness, don't fear! Jon Pardi is the next country star to take the stage at the fair, performing this Wednesday (August 28th).

Even when the fair is over, there are a ton of country concerts all across Minnesota and Wisconsin. Some require a little road trip but it's always worth it! Artists coming to our neck of the woods include Luke Bryan, Shaboozey, Midland, Chris Young and so many more.
