I was working at Grizzley's in Canal Park for the B105 pre show party before the Chris Young Concert having fun. I love doing those because I talk to people and hear special stories about why they love a song, or  artist, or our radio station or jocks. One girl in particular had a really good story and it won me over.

At the end of the party, she told me she had a special request and message for Chris Young and wanted to deliver it to him. She was going to try her luck and throw it on stage. Well, I informed her I might be getting backstage, and IF I COULD, I would deliver the message.

She immediately sat down and wrote him a letter on a napkin. Had a picture taken with me and the note, and wanted a special pic with him and I holding the note so she knew I really delivered it and didn't just tell her I did. So Here's the first picture.

I was able to get backstage and asked for permission to give him the note. (There are rules you have to follow), and gave it to him. He looked at the note and noticed there were requests and said they were very deep cuts in the album and the set list was already made. He did take it so he could say hi to the girl on stage.

I will add he was a very nice guy. So, to make sure I really did give him the note, I had my fan picture taken with him. I will also say, this is not something we can do or will do all the time, but I had a feeling it would work. I want to say thank you to Chris Young and his management for allowing the note, it made a fan's night.
