A disturbing trend has developed this week as another Missing Person Alert has been issued with the hope of locating a missing Minnesota woman.

On Monday, September 27, an alert was sent across the state to help find Ashley Carlson, who was last seen on September 24 east of Hinckley.

Tuesday morning, a separate Missing Person Alert was sent by the Aitkin County Sheriff's Office to help locate Abbey Piner, who they believe might be in the St. Paul area. They issued the alert, along with a picture of Abbey, on their official Facebook page.

MISSING PERSON ALERT: The Aitkin Co. Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing woman. Abbey Piner, 29, is 5’11”, 225 lbs., with brown hair and brown eyes. Investigators believe she may be in the St. Paul area and may have been using the name Abbey Ingvaldson. Anyone with information on her whereabouts is urged to contact the Aitkin County Sheriff’s Office at 218-927-7400 or 911.
