In 2012 Duluth's Ariel Lift Bridge was lit pink for breast cancer awareness and it not only drew a crowd, but a lot of buzz as well.  Every major cause has its colors and we may see the lift bridge representing them in the future.

The Northland's NewsCenter is reporting that you can expect to see Duluth's aerial lift bridge glowing with different colors in the future.

The Duluth city Council passed a resolution Monday that will allow groups to bathe the bridge in color to support charitable causes on a case by case basis.

Organizations will need to submit request to the city at least thirty days in advance and any lighting work will have to be done by lighting professionals.
