We're doing it again! We're looking to you to help us "draft" this year's Duluth Fantasy TV News Team! There have been many changes in the local TV news arena in the last year, adding a large rookie class to a solid stable of veteran broadcasters.

Following an intense voting period that lasted two and a half weeks, we are excited to announce the Duluth-Superior area's "starting roster" of local TV news superstars for 2015.

The popularity of fantasy football has exploded in recent years. The excitement of getting to hand-pick players based on a number of factors to build a team of your own adds a new angle to watching the games. That got us thinking; why not do the same thing with our local TV news teams?

Recently the largest storm since 1941 hit Sawyer County in Wisconsin.  The storm caused an estimated $2 million of damage throughout the county and while water levels are going back down, there is still a lot of clean up left to be done and the Red Cross is there to help.

Bullying is serious stuff and it's something everyone in their lives has been exposed to in some capacity.  There is nothing more offensive than the behavior that can destroy young lives, so it's encouraging that legislation is being presented to toughen Minnesota's stance on bullying.

A Superior mother, who was the designated driver for friends the day the Packers lost to the 49er's, is claiming police brutality after a violent confrontation with a Superior police officer.  The incident was caught on the squad car's video.

The Christmas City Of The North Parade is Friday, November 22, which officially kicks of the holiday season in the Northland.  If you are going to the parade, make sure to bundle up as it will be a cold one.

There are several indicators that our economy continues to be growing, and a recent development at Cirrus Aircraft is fantastic news for the Northland.
