The Christmas City Of The North Parade is Friday, November 22, which officially kicks of the holiday season in the Northland.  If you are going to the parade, make sure to bundle up as it will be a cold one.

According to The Northland's News Center, the parade is scheduled to start at 6:20pm and will follow the same route as last year, beginning at the Northland's NewsCenter Studios in Canal Park.  It will then move up Lake Avenue to Superior Street, where it will take a left and end at 5th Avenue West.  The parade is expected to end about 8pm.

Parking meters are free downtown after 5pm and there will be free parking available at the following ramps:

  • Shoppers Auto Park
  • Fourth Avenue Auto Park
  • US Bank
  • Tech Village
  • Medical District Ramp
  • East Superior Street Public Ramp

With a late Thanksgiving this year, Christmas will be here before we know it.  Because of that I expect the Northland will be in the holiday spirit more than ever this year.  Have fun at the parade!
