34th Annual Duluth Rotary Club Rose Sale Begins September 5
Beginning September 5, the Duluth Rotary Club is presenting their 34th Annual Rose sale. It's a great way to treat someone special in your life, but it's only for a limited time.
From Thursday, September 5 through Sunday, October 6, look for roses on sale throughout the Duluth/Superior region for only $25 a dozen. You can also purchase online through RotaryRoses.com. The roses are available in a red or multi-colored lollipop.
Anyone purchasing roses will also receive a complimentary coupon book featuring a variety of special offers from several supporting businesses.
Proceeds from the sale help support numerous Duluth Rotary Club projects that benefit the local community. These projects include:
- Grants to local organizations that help children and less-fortunate individuals by providing food, shelter and clothing
- Community improvements, including the construction of parks and funds that helped light Duluth’s Aerial Lift Bridge and Enger Tower
- Activities for local children, including an annual fishing trip on the St. Louis River
- Activities for seniors
- Provided books for the library
Pre-ordered roses will be available for pick-up on Friday October 11th and Saturday October 12th at numerous Northland locations.
