Take Part In The 2023 Northland Heart Walk This September
This is a great way to get out into the community while getting your steps in! The Northland Heart walk is upon us, taking place on Saturday, September 23rd. The event kicks off at Leif Erikson Park in Duluth, Minnesota.
The event has a few different ways you can take part, offering a one or two mile route to walk. There are also 5K options. You don't have to pay to take part, as participation is free. However, fundraising is encouraged along with donations.

The event benefits the American Heart Association. It opens at 9 a.m. The walk begins at 10 a.m. The money raised will go towards research, medical breakthroughs and even training more people in CPR.
You can register online to take part in the event with friends, family or even co-workers. The goal is to raise $105,000 dollars. At the time of writing, about $32,000 has been raised. Let's get the word out and help this incredible cause!
If you can't take part in the walk, you can also take part by being a volunteer. Each year, the event needs volunteers and that is a different way you can help the cause. The Northland Heart Walk will also have drinks, education and free family entertainment. You will also have the chance to hear inspirational stories.
