2 Wisconsin Lottery Players Won A Combined $500,000 Last Weekend
Last weekend was a very profitable one for two Wisconsin lottery players, who combined to win $500,000.
The half a million dollars in winnings was accomplished by playing two different lottery games, with one winner scoring $150,000 Saturday and then another player winning $350,000.
$150,000 Wisconsin Powerball Winner Saturday
The first winner scored $150,000 with Saturday's Powerball drawing. The winning numbers on Saturday, February 17 were 6-28-59-62-69, with the Powerball of 21.
According to the Wisconsin Lottery, the $150,000 winning ticket was purchased at the Kwik Trip located at 124 W. McCoy Blvd. in Tomah. The winner matched 4 of 5 numbers plus the Powerball number, which guarantees 50,000.
However, the player added the optional $1 Power Play to their Powerball ticket, so the $50,000 win became $150,000 because the PowerPlay multiplier was 3X.
$350,000 Winning SuperCash! Ticket
Before last weekend would end, an even bigger Wisconsin Lottery prize would be won. On Sunday, February 18, a player won $350,000 playing the SuperCash game.
If you're unfamiliar with SuperCash!, it's similar to Powerball in that it involves having a ticket with winning numbers, with a $350,000 jackpot up for grabs for players who have all 6 winning numbers.
However, there are some differences from Powerball:
- Players choose six different numbers from 1 to 39. Minimum play is two panels for $1.
- Place wagers by asking for a QUICK PICK or by using the SuperCash! play slip. Playslips are available at Wisconsin Lottery retailers.
- Choose how many draws to play. Each set of two plays cost $1 per draw. SuperCash! can be played up to 7 draws (7 days) in advance.
On Sunday, the winning numbers were 6-12-18-24-30-33. Only one person had all 6 winning numbers, so they won the entire $350,000 jackpot.
That winning ticket was purchased at Wittlin's Complete Car Care Food Mart, located at N92W17387 Appleton Avenue in Menomonee Falls.
