Recently, the Wisconsin Lottery announced the Holly Jolly Raffle was back for a 14th year with an even bigger top prize. The popular holiday lotto game featured a top prize of $100,000 in 2022, but that amount was increased to $125,000 for 2023.

Besides the $125,000 top prize, the Holly Jolly Raffle lotto game has 1,828 other prizes including 78 prizes of $1,000 and 1,750 prizes of $100.

Only 150,000 total tickets were available to purchase across Wisconsin and the drawing was scheduled for Monday, December 4, 2024.

Here are the basics on how to play:

  • Each play is $5 and prints from a Wisconsin Lottery terminal on a separate ticket.
  • A six-digit number is printed on each ticket.
  • Tickets are sold in numerical order starting with 000001.
  • Players sign the back of the ticket when they receive it.
  • Once 150,000 tickets are sold, no more tickets will be available for purchase.
  • Number of prizes, prize amounts, and draw date will not change regardless of the
    number of tickets sold.
  • Winning numbers will be made available on the evening of December 4, 2023.
Tickets can be redeemed after the drawing.
  • Winning odds for the Holly Jolly Raffle lotto game are $125,000, 1:150,000; $1,000, 1:1,924; $100, 1:86. Prizes = 50.4% of sales. Odds based on 150,000 tickets sold.

There's A Big Reason An 887-Square-Foot Duluth Home Listed For $814,600

Recently, a Duluth home went on the market for $814,600. What was interesting was that the 2 bedroom, 1 bath home was 887 square feet. That translates to $918 per square foot.

Realtor.com says the median listing home price in Minneapolis, Minnesota was $325K in October 2023. The median listing home price per square foot was $235.

According to the National Association of Realtors, in March 2022, the average price per square foot of a home was $244, while the median price per square foot was $202.

Based on those figures, it would be fair to wonder why this property was listed significantly higher. It turns out, there is one big reason why, which you'll see as you take a look through the property.
