Wisconsin Lottery Players Win Nearly $500,000 On Monday Alone
It was a very profitable start to the week in Wisconsin as the Wisconsin Lottery announced that a combined $457,999 had been won on Monday, December 18.
The hefty sum was won across 5 tickets, playing three separate games available through the Wisconsin Lottery.
$150,000 Wisconsin Powerball Winner
One of the winners scored $150,000 with Monday's Powerball drawing. The winning numbers on December 18 were 5-8-19-34-39, with the Powerball of 26.
A ticket purchased at the Sister Bay Mobil, in Sister Bay, Wisconsin four of the winning white ball numbers and the Powerball. That would normally mean they won $50,000, but thanks to the 3X Power Play, they get $150,000.
$100,000 All or Nothing Winning Ticket
Also on December 18, somebody won $100,000 playing the All or Nothing game. This is a game in which the player selects a set of eleven different numbers from 1 to 22. At the player's option, numbers may be player-selected or randomly selected by computer. The eleven (11) winning numbers are randomly selected by a drawing.
To win the $100,000 prize, the player matched all 11 numbers. Monday's winning ticket was sold at a Kwik Trip in Cuba City, Wisconsin.
A Total Of $207,999 Won Playing Badger 5
Badger 5 was the third Wisconsin Lottery game to get a big payout on Monday. It is a game in which the player selects a set of five different numbers from 1 to 31. At the player's option, numbers may be player-selected or randomly selected by computer.
The 5 winning numbers are randomly selected by a drawing and the jackpot is won by having all 5 winning numbers on your ticket. If other players have all 5 winning numbers, then the jackpot is divided evenly among all players. Badger 5 prizes are approximately 50.0% of sales and jackpots not won are carried forward to the next drawing.
On December 18, three people had winning tickets and they'll split a $207,999 cash prize. One winning ticket was sold at a BP in Cudahy, Wisconsin, another at a Kwik Trip in Watertown, and the third winning ticket was purchased at Howard's Pantry in Howards Grove.
While there's never a bad time to win cash, it's even better when it happens in the middle of the holiday season. I'm sure all winners will gladly welcome a fun financial boost right now.
