10 Restaurants In Duluth & Superior That Are Open On Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving is upon us and if you're anything like me, you've been thinking about the feast quite a bit.
Part of the fun of Thanksgiving is getting together with family and friends and cooking up a storm. Staples include green bean casserole, cranberry sauce and of course, turkey!
Some people like to make a whole day of cooking and getting ready for the big meal while others prefer to take the easy route and head out to a restaurant on the holiday instead.
Many restaurants are closed on Thanksgiving but luckily for us here in the Duluth and Superior area, some remain open for those that aren't quite up to cooking.
I tracked down 10 different restaurants across Duluth and Superior that are indeed open come Thursday. The cool thing is most of them are also offering a special Thanksgiving Day menu, complete with all the fixings you are likely craving right about now.

Pickwick Restaurant & Pub
The eatery with an incredible view is open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thanksgiving Day. They will have a special menu available too.

Tavern On The Hill
The eatery will open at 11 a.m. Thanksgiving Day. You can eat to your heart's desire until 10 p.m. The standard menu will be available, as will a plated standard Thanksgiving meal.

310 Pub
Not a fan of turkey? Head to Canal Park and eat whatever you please on their standard menu. The restaurant opens at 5 p.m. and is open late until 2 a.m.

JJ Astor
A regular menu will be available from 6:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. that afternoon. Beginning at 5 p.m., you can snack on a turkey dinner for a fixed price AND pick off the regular menu.

Black Woods Grill & Bar
Black Woods is open normal business hours on Thanksgiving Day. However, they will have a special Thanksgiving buffet from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. A reservation is highly encouraged.

Dry Dock Bar & Restaurant
Eat from their buffet OR choose from a list of specials from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Barker's Island Inn
A special Thanksgiving Day buffet will take the place of their standard menu Thursday. The buffet runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Walk-ins are welcome but reservations are encouraged.

The Boat Club
The Boat Club has a special buffet for Thanksgiving, which includes carving stations, salad, soups and dessert. Their standard menu will not be available and a reservation is required.

The DECC
So this isn't technically a restaurant, but who is counting? The DECC is offering up a Thanksgiving Day Buffet AND the best part is it is completely free! All you have to do is show up between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Now that is something to be thankful for.
