The fall workshop will be held Friday, September 14 -Sunday, September 16 at the Wolf Ridge Environmental Learning Center near Finland, Minnesota. This is a new location for this workshop, so it'll offer a whole new experience for woman who've attended similar programs in the past.
Women in attendance will get to hike and enjoy unsurpassed views of Lake Superior as part of a weekend that also includes sessions covering Ojibwe heritage, Voyageurs, archery, canoeing, and the animals, plants and geology of the North Woods.
There will also be naturalists on hand to share their expertise.
According to the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, the workshop is designed for women ages 18 and up but girls ages 14 to 17 are welcome to attend with parents or guardians.
