Wisconsin Residents Are Eligible To Settlement Money Involving Dairy Prices
I did not fully understand how this would work since I don't keep my grocery receipts. How do you prove that you purchased milk and/or dairy products while a resident of Wisconsin from the year 2003 until now? Sounds goofy doesn't it, but worth the few minutes it takes to give your information since you may be entitled to some cash. Oh, and they don't ask for receipts.
I thought it was just milk since the website that has all the information is boughtmilk.com. But, you'll see that it's dairy products too like sour cream, cream cheese, cottage cheese and more. It's part of a class action lawsuit that involves fresh milk products price fixing. I honestly don't know where people come up with this stuff!
If you're an individual you could gain anywhere from $5-$20, if you are an entity such as a school or after school program you could see anywhere from $140-$560. There are 13 states that are involved in the lawsuit (Minnesota is NOT one of them). Once you visit the website if you have friends or relatives living in one of the states mentioned, share this info and they can get a little jing in their pocket too. But hurry, you only have until January 31, 2017 to fill out the information requested.
